We have detected and fixed many issues of residents being charged for NBN services they don’t or can’t use.
The most blatant abuse of trust usually comes from the major suppliers and in collusion with Retirement Villages, Aged Care and Nursing facilities, but can also be home and business users.

One of the clients from a prestige Retirement Village was being charged $100 a month for her NBN connection even though she did not own any device that could connect to the NBN. We fixed it and she received a $3,546 refund, the NBN connection was disconnected.
